One Meralco Foundation School Electrification Program energizes 100th school in Porac, Pampanga

One Meralco Foundation energizes 100th school through solar technology

In 2011, One Meralco Foundation launched its School Electrification Program to bring electricity and technology to off-grid public schools located in remote island and mountain communities. Less the five years later, the program energized its 100th school, an elementary school in the boondocks of Porac, Pampanga, home to the Aeta indigenous community. To this day, the program continues to energize schools within and beyond the Meralco franchise area.

Kids from ARMM fly to Manila for ‘Football for Peace’ Festival
